Cherry Creek Golf Club Wedding

A mother-daughter dance where everyone joined in. A tear-jerking, surprise slideshow during the mother-son dance. Several blessing filled speeches. This wedding was so full of love, family, and happiness. Have your wedding at Cherry Creek Golf Club.

I first met Nicole a few months prior to her wedding at a coffee shop. Unfortunately, Mike couldn’t make it to the consultation, and they were unable to do an engagement session. So, the first time I met Mike was an hour before the ceremony when he and the groomsmen were getting ready! Normally, this makes things a teensy bit awkward for me. I’m jumping into someone’s most important day while not knowing them at all. As soon as I walked into the room, I knew I had nothing to worry about. Everyone was extremely welcoming, the guys were having such a fun time, and there was so much good energy heading into the big day. I told Mile how I had just come from the girls’ room after seeing Nicole in her dress and she looked stunning. Never have I ever seen a groom look as excited to see his bride as Mike!

Nicole and Mike held reception at Cherry Creek Golf Club which is one of my favorite venues ever. The reception space is gorgeous, the wait staff is incredible, and there are such picturesque views outside. It started to sprinkle a bit on the morning of their wedding, but Nicole was completely unbothered. I could just feel how excited she was to get to the highlight of the day: the whole getting married part!

It poured rain during the ceremony, which ended up providing the lushest, greenest grass for the family photos and bridal portraits. The photos below are the most picturesque example of a perfect, green, pure Michigan wedding.

It was such an honor to be able to attend and photograph this wedding day. Mike and Nicole’s families are both so welcoming, lovely, and fun. The groomsmen were hilarious and the bridesmaids were so helpful! Jen, Emilee, Jessica and Flynn, you were the best bridesmaids a photographer could ask for. They were always nearby ready with a extra hands at every point during the day. They helped me round up family members for photos, get everything together for the detail shots, and anticipate Nicole’s every need like swapping out her shoes when her feet hurt and always making sure she had a drink in hand. No one could ask for a better group of loved ones.

 

Nicole and Mike, I cannot wait to see where life takes you and I wish you all the best during this new chapter.
