Courthouse Wedding Chic: Bride Guide

This summer, courthouse weddings are all the rage. Between the ever changing social-distancing rules, family who are unable to travel and other extenuating circumstances, many couples are opting to elope at city hall! Personally, I love a courthouse wedding. These ceremonies are so intimate, passionate and carefree. That’s why I put together this post. All you need is a moodboard, list of vendors, and wedding timeline to help you start envisioning your perfect day!

I love the modern, carefree and super romantic feeling to the photos above. They remind us that courthouse weddings don’t have to be any less chic than a more traditional style event. A courthouse ceremony is an opportunity to break free of the expectations of what a wedding “should” look like. So don’t afraid to show up as your most genuine, quirky, in-love self. Wear a shorter dress. Get matching vintage sunglasses. Laugh a lot.

All you truly need for a wedding like this is a dress, a photographer, the marriage license, and accessories! Oh! And the groom…can’t forget that one.
