These two worked together and fell in love during a breakroom lunch hour. The cutest office romance story! Who knew during that fateful meeting in the breakroom that they would one day be walking down the aisle on this absolutely gorgeous July day?!

 

Wedding photography is an extremely personal service…

 

As a photographer, I’m tasked with photographing someone’s biggest day in a way that reflects who they are. It’s a form of storytelling. What tone should be conveyed, what are the priority shots and what do you want your future generations to feel when they look at your wedding photos?

In order to make sure I capture someone’s wedding in a way that is meaningful to them, I ask the following questions:

1. What words would you use to describe your wedding day?
2. How do you want your wedding photography to look
3. Other than photos, what is the most important thing to you when booking your photographer?

Because wedding photos are so distinctly personal and no two weddings are the same, I want to make sure my photography reflects your own love story and personalities.

 

Timeless & Elegant

 

When I asked these questions to Jeff and Nakea, they said that they wanted their wedding day to look formal but feel casual. They wanted it to appear timeless and elegant, but still be unique to who they are and feel very natural. With the combination of Belle Isle greenery, downtown Detroit murals (thank you to Jeff for getting us exclusive access to this gorgeous private rooftop!), blush tones and rose golds, I think all of their intentions are conveyed so beautifully through their photographs.
